The sensual swirl of a fire- red dress and the staccato sound of dancing shoes set the stage for Ballet Flamenco at 8 tonight at the Zoellner Arts Center at Lehigh University in Bethlehem.

Jose Porcel brings the traditional Andalusian folk culture of southern Spain to the Lehigh Valley with a burst of brilliant color, dynamic dance movement, song and instruments dominated by the classic Flamenco guitar.

"This multidisciplinary performance is a melding of many art forms, dance, singing and instrumental," says Deborah Sacarakis, director of programming at Zoellner.
