Aaron Larget-Caplan & La Conja join forces for ‘Classic Spain’

Aaron Larget-Caplan picked up the electric guitar for the same reasons most teenage boys do — he wanted to be a rock star. But once he heard Andre Segovia, the father of modern classical guitar, play in Spanish class, “I was like, oh.”

“Literally, just the moment I heard this, I thought, ‘I could do this.’ And I tried it and I failed. It’s really hard,” he says by phone from his Boston home.
He kept at it and now plays in concerts nation-wide. The 28-year-old classical guitarist makes his Provincetown debut with two concerts called “Classic Spain” that he’ll perform with flamenco dancer and singer La Conja on Saturday at the Provincetown Theater, 238 Bradford St., Provincetown.
