(noticia) Blood Wedding at Rockland Public Library

ROCKLAND (Jan 1): On Thursday Jan. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Rockland Public Library, the film BLOOD WEDDING (Spain) will be screened. The first of Carlos Saura's Flamenco dance films featuring the great Spanish dancer and choreographer, Antonio Gades. Saura's Blood Wedding utilizes documentary and performance elements melding into a mesmerizing flamenco version of Garcia Lorca's play. Blood Wedding is not available commercially on either dvd or vhs, so don't miss this rare screening.

This is the third evening in a five-part European Film series co-sponsored by the Rockland Public Library and Community Events Series of the 2007 Camden Conference - Europe: Old Continent in a New World.

hola!...la verdad llegué por casuelidad a tu blog...lo q pasa es que estoy tratando de hacer un cd de flamenco (música) para una amiga que baila...la verdad es que yo no se mucho sobre el flamenco y no se cuáles son los mejores cantantes de flamenco...si me pudieras ayudar te lo agradecria mucho!....
