‘Estilo Flamenco’ to perform at next Beaufort Concert

The next Beaufort Concert will take place on Sunday 4 March at 3pm in the Beaufort Suite of Bishops’ College, Cheshunt. ‘Estilo Flamenco’ will be making their appearance in this series of informal concerts.

‘Estilo Flamenco’ perform a combination of traditional and modern flamenco music and Gypsy Kings-style music. Since 1996 they have appeared on Bruce Forsyth’s ‘Generation Game’ and Philip Schofield’s ‘Talking Telephone Numbers’. Francisco Antonio and Eduardo Moran are both half-Spanish and their professional training has included working with Paco Pena at the Rotterdam Conservatoire and with some of the world’s leading guitarists in Cordoba.

In the last 10 years, the Beaufort Concerts have featured performances by almost 40 different groups and they have brought music ranging from traditional classical to more modern and avant-garde to Broxbourne residents. The concert series has also provided an annual showcase of young musical talent each spring.

Tickets cost £8, with £6 for concessions, and are available from Broxbourne Council one stop shops, the Broxbourne Civic Hall box office or by telephoning 01992 623489. Some tickets will also be available on the door.
