(festival) Turquía. Istanbul Jazz Festival Starts with Flamenco, Ends with Jazz


The last guest of the 11th International Istanbul Jazz Festival organized by the Istanbul Culture and Art Association (IKSV) was Radio Mundial.

The festival that started on July 8th with a concert by Burhan Ocal and Paco de Lucia, ended on Sunday (July 18th) with a mini festival called "Life Market" at the Istanbul Culture and Congress Center in Ayazaga. Radio Mundial, from Brooklyn New York, Orchestra Baobab and Oi Va Voi participated in the Life Market. On the side, the Italian group, Funk Off, created a carnival atmosphere during the day. "Life Market" entertained guests of all ages with alternative scenes, workshop activities and places for children. Festival followers shuttled between Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre and Cemal Resit Rey Concert Hall.
