(noticia) Spanish flamenco virtuoso Aida Gomez is second to none when it comes to playing the femme fatale.

With Gomez scheduled to perform two such roles during an upcoming tour with her Aida Gomez Theater Dance Company, dance fans can expect to double their viewing pleasure.
In "Salome," she portrays the biblical figure who calls for the head of John the Baptist. In "Carmen," she plays the gypsy who woos Don Jose and the bullfighter Escamillo.
Also on the bill are excerpts from Carlos Saura's 2005 flamenco film "Iberia," inspired by Issac Albeniz's suite, and "Flamenco Suite," a tableau that showcases flamenco in its purest form.
"Carmen" and excerpts from "Iberia" will be performed April 14 (7 p.m.), April 15 (1 and 6 p.m.) and April 16 (1 p.m.) at Tokyo's Bunkamura Orchard Hall.
"Salome" and "Flamenco Suite" will be staged April 21 (2 and 7 p.m.) and April 22 (1 and 6 p.m.) at the same venue.
