Dana Milea

Ballet Flamenco de Madrid and the Espana Baila Flamenco, two of the best dance companies of their kind in the world, will perform in Bucharest at the Palace Hall on April 6 and 7.
On April 6, Espana Baila Flamenco will present the show "The Power of Feeling," which has inspired critics to call the 24 dancers "Riverdance a la Espanola."
On April 7, the public will be invited to view a performance of George Bizet's "Carmen," interpreted by Ballet Flamenco de Madrid. The interpretation will not be one of classical ballet but a flamenco performance in two acts and 13 scenes, with 26 artists on stage.
Both shows were choreographed by Paco Mora, who has also starred in two movies, Jacques Weber's "Don Juan" in 1999 and Carlos Saura's "Salome" in 2002.
Ticket prices for "The Power of Feeling" vary between 30 lei and 100 lei, while "Carmen" spectators will pay between 40 and 120 lei.
