Chick Corea and the Touchstone ensemble showered a capacity crowd in the Atwood Concert Hall with artistic brilliance Thursday night. It is said many musicians play themselves out in their mid-40s, but Corea, at 64, continues to evolve and reinvent his incomparable art.
After a dedication to sci-fi writer and Scientology creator L. Ron Hubbard, Corea launched material from his 98th album, "The Ultimate Adventure," interpreting characters and events to music from the Hubbard book bearing the same name.
