Gotta dance

When Little Richard was hip, so was dancing. When the Beatles invaded, they made us twist and shout. When the Bee Gees reigned, every night was boogie night. And with the popularity of Spandex in the 1980s came the rise of the Solid Gold Dancers.

You don't see dancing like you used to. Not social dancing, anyway. If it's social, it's not for the mainstream. It's for club kids, for hip-huggers looking for a good time. You certainly wouldn't take your sister for a night of crunking to "Laffy Taffy."
