Guitarist and dancer have embraced lively Spanish art

In case you miss the sixth annual, monthlong Flamenco Festival USA -- featuring more than 100 artists in New York, Chicago and several others cities through Feb. 18 -- Louisville offers its own contemporary styling of this fabled art.

On alternate Fridays, Caffe Classico on Frankfort Avenue rings with the intoxicating strains of Gareth Jones' flamenco guitar and the impassioned dancing of Graciela Perrone, her heels hammering acoustics on the bare floor, her skirt swirling patterns and her face alive with emotion.
