Feb. 10 (Bloomberg) -- The Victoria & Albert Museum is paying tribute to fashionista Anna Piaggi, journalist, stylist and long-time columnist for Italian Vogue. Seminal designers such as Karl Lagerfeld credit her with inventing entirely new directions for fashion over more than 30 years.
With her trademark blue curl and plastic black bob, Piaggi has never hesitated to don garments often intended for another purpose. For instance, she has been known to throw a dress around her neck as a scarf or wear a piece of jewelry as a hat, thereby reinventing sometimes quite conventional clothes.
